Main Building
There are two floors above ground and one basement floor for a total area of 2,699㎡. Included on the first floor are a meeting room, audience chamber, and guest room. The second floor holds a bedroom, library, living room, dining room, family room, and a traditional Korean room. It is the only place within the country, which was used by five presidents over 88 times.

Ogakjeong Pavilion
The Ogakjeong Pavilion was erected in the scale of 33㎡ along with the main building in 1983. It has been used frequently as a walking course by the presidents and their esteemed wives and families for more than 20 years. Surrounded by wild flowers and a forest, fresh air can be fully enjoyed. The scenery was appreciated by presidents who enjoyed the lake and mountains in the daytime, and the moonlight and cute tricks of grandsons and granddaughters in the nighttime. The pentagonal pavilion is remeniscent of the rose of Sharon. It is located 350m from the main building and 104m above sea level.

Heliport
Two helicopters can take off and land at the same time on the lawn. With an area of 4,463㎡, it has been used for playing football, Korean archery, western archery, volleyball, baseball, and gate ball. The opening ceremony was held here by President Roh, Moo-hyeon and local residents in April 18, 2003. Around the heliport are pieces of junk art, which were produced using discarded materials.

Fish Farm
The 2,645㎡ area is used as a fish-farm from spring to autumn and a skating ring in winter. To purify water, it is pumped up into the metasequoia forest for natural purification with wild parsley and shepherd’s purse, and three fountains were installed to supply oxygen in the early days of the People’s Government. There are a variety of fish including fancy carp, carp, and leather carp. In the front there is a chair where the presidents have rested comfortably while feeding and watching fish.

Golf Course
The area is 54,545㎡, and it has nine courses, five greens, and 10 tee boxes. It had been used frequently in the days of the 5th and 6th Republics but only as a walking course in the days of the Civilian and People’s Governments. Around the golf course, there are many landscape trees: 50 40-year old deciduous cypress trees, maples, pines, and azaleas. On occasion, it can be seen that wild animals such as pheasants, deer and elk are playing there.

Geunuljib
This club house having an area of 147㎡ can be used as a resting place after golfing, jogging, or walking. The four sides are covered with glass, and harmonizing lighting fixtures are arranged in the room. As the veranda is cool and has splendid scenery, it was used frequently for lunching. The front area of the shade house has frequently been used for fishing and water leisure sports. A group of mallards from the days of the Civilian Government plays together and flies away in fright when a trumpet shell is blown.

Chogajung
The grass-roofed house and pavilion were built in the early days of the People’s Government. Farming tools were brought from Hauido Island, where President Kim, Dae-jung was born, and traditional living articles collected in the Munui area are displayed there. It is surrounded by a garden of wild flowers and a fence. It is the second best place at Cheongnamdae to view the surroundings. Sitting in the pavilion and looking at the lake, feels like being on an island. President Kim, Daejung used to sit in the pavilion and enjoy thinking.
